Thursday Sep 4th 2008. Utilisoft Pty Ltd today announced the appointment of Peter Norris as its new Managing Director. Based in Melbourne, Australia, Norris is responsible for developing and executing Utilisoft’s business strategy for the Asia Pacific region. The addition of Mr Norris provides strong leadership, proven business development, and experience in growing successful regional teams.
With more than 20 years of experience in the IT application and software consulting industries, this appointment will further enhance Utilisoft’s ability to meet the specific needs of companies in Asia Pacific, and deliver the functionality and flexibility that drive customer success.

Previously, Norris was Regional Manager at Telelogic, a leading provider of software and services for Enterprise Lifecycle Management (ELM) which recently became an IBM company. Prior to joining Telelogic, Norris was Regional Sales Manager at webMethods, a leading Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) suite, where he greatly expanded the customer base in his region.
Prior to webMethods, Norris spent 12 years at Computer Associates where he had a number of roles ranging from Customer Service Representative, Sales Executive, National Sales Manager, Business Manager, and Consulting Director.
Previous Managing Director, Tony Barnes, is relocating to the United Kingdom to become Chief Operating Officer of smart metering company Bglobal plc.
