Smart Metering
Utilisoft has created an integrated, modular solution set to enable the practical operation of power/gas smart meters and associated microgeneration. Our solutions create real-time operational integration, effective process execution, market compliance and ‘one’ version of the truth to reduce data related inaccuracies.
Our solution set comprises the following modules delivered through its own and pre-integrated partner solutions:
- Evolved Market Interaction (eMI) to support smart metering and microgeneration related communications in real-time bringing the data within the meter to the energy and utility company.
- Meter Data Unification Systems (MDUS) to allow for the integration of various meter protocols to facilitate operational efficiency of meter interaction.
- Meter Data Collection (MDC) and Aggregation to access, retrieve, group, sum and distribute smart meter data and to configure the meter in line with approved service features.
- Smart Meter Data Management (MDM), sometimes referred to as the Meter Data Repository providing the master storage, validation, enrichment and availability of smart meter and related data.
- Meter Operations (MO) for accredited service providers who manage the operational asset lifecycle smart meters and micro-generators on behalf of energy and utility organisations.
- Consumer Status Tracking (CST) module to align the business and market view of consumers who have smart meters and potentially microgeneration installed, so that they are appropriately managed by operational systems.
- Meter-To-Market Access (M2MA) enabling Smart Meters originating in many countries to operate efficiently in a particular territory through integration with and exchange of predefined market messages.
- Smart Meter Operational Integration (SMOI) to integrate the processes and data through the exchange of transactional market and company specific messaging in real-time to service wider processes and applications, such as Consumer Portals or Billing applications. This module includes automated data validation, alerting, workflow and service interrogation to support operational performance.
- Meter Data Publishing (MDP) to distribute the smart meter and microgeneration data within and between energy and utility organisations in original, enriched and pre-analysed forms to approved end user subscribers in real time.
- Integrated smart energy architectures in partnership with a wide range of software providers such as Oracle and IBM, System Integrators and client environments.
Modules within the solution set can be combined to provide a composite integrated deployment or deployed individually to enable specific functional delivery.
